Daily Program / Season #3: DesertIA Dreams

"DesertIA Dreams" grew out of blending different style of images together into a series of large compositions and seeing how everything moved when transitioning between them. It shares the same world of DesertIA but feels like a deeper layer of it. More human elements start creeping in, familiar but off, like the real world is a dream inside of a dream. The loop came together naturally out of that process and the surreal quality of it isn't something I forced, it just showed up when I let the images talk to each other. Around this time I also started turning to open source models for the music, building unique tracks by mixing genres and leaning into a cumbia influence. The audio for this one reflects that, it's almost like the song is about to start but never really does. It also inspired a series of other songs.
