Rogue's Rogues: Fat Al

I watched a handful of people walk by this leisurely gator without even a glance. Pushing loud strollers on a morning walk, staring down scrolling feeds, talking on the phone from the "home office". How much is missed living out of the moment. Often times I also struggle living in the moment but have learned to slow down and let the natural world accept me. With my bare feet on the ground I move slowly, feel the world through my feet. I walk slow and silent to not disturb. The longer I sit and shed my city life, the more nature lets me in. Birds sing loudly on near branches. Squirrels no longer hide on the other side of trees and some casually hop by my feet as if I myself was rooted.

Always use caution when viewing and photographing wildlife. It is your responsibility to do your research to learn and understand animal behaviors and habits. The better we respect the wild the better we protect it.
