The Elephant: Salt Air : Pete Standing Alone
Salt Air : Pete Standing Alone - The Elephant / False Memory
The Elephant is an invitation luring the viewer into a labyrinth of perception. The original half of the image, a crystallised moment in time, holds the weight of the artist's own lived experience and memory, etched into its pixels. Yet, the Generative AI counterpart, with its surreal and often unexpected elements, casts a spell, challenging us to question the very nature of reality.
In the realm of human cognition, memory has always been a complex and malleable phenomenon. With the advent of AI-generated imagery, we now face a new frontier in the creation and manipulation of memories. This intersection of technology and psychology raises profound questions about the nature of reality and perception by stretching the fabric of our remembered experiences.
