Before I begin,
Rob Markman covered this situation in a youtube video that basically covers everything I would have said myself.
I highly recommend watching it if you care about this situation at all.

I obviously grew up with admiration and was inspired and impacted by Outkast, but I know Ovrkast personally, have been championing and supporting his journey from the start.
Similar to A.I. convo, I'm seeing some crazzzzzy takes on twitter about this situation that are so bad faith, uninformed and further more convince me most of traffic we see on social media is bots deployed defend capitalism's worst traits.
I feel it's important as an artist and as a fan of music, even If I didn't have any personal relationship or proximity to Ovrkast, to speak up when we see anyone, platform, corp, label or artist flexing archaic broken legal tactics to disrupt, extract and bully smaller or even very established artists like New Jeans....
There is wrong and there is right...
This is very wrong, and hurts to watch.
As someone who to this day has felt the negative impact of changing your artist name (lost 100% of my followers, monthly listeners and track plays after switching from Dutchy to Dutchyyy, and that not recovered)
As someone who got bullied by their surgeons legal offence and likely has lost hope of a future as an emcee or a healthy jaw/mouth in general, and as someone currently being bullied by corporate with dishonest legal loopholes by the unsafe home I ended up in which was supposed to be an escape from unsafe homes haha..
This topic hits home for me in many ways in the present...
Greed and deception being rewarded for the ability to bully into submission because the legal pockets are unrealistically much deeper than those being taking advantage of.
SEARCHING FOR A SAVE POINT.
peace to sleevenote for making an appearance.
Stand up for something please.
