This work depicts a figure in motion between darkness and light, an almost dance-like state, yet a dance that rises from within rather than from without. The elongated dark lines and entangled shadows evoke a sense of pressure, heaviness, and captivity. And yet, the very body in motion becomes a symbol of the struggle to break free from an inner cage. This image portrays the tension between confinement and freedom, stillness and dance. Here, dance is not merely the movement of the body, but an expression of the soul’s liberation, as if the body were nothing but a shadow, and it is the spirit that dances, breaking free from its chains.
