On a snowy January morning in 2016, I encountered it while walking along the Kadıköy coast. It had just woken up among the rocks, sniffing the air in the chill of the morning. I couldn't smell anything, but the cat sniffed the air for a long time. After a while, it disappeared among the rocks, chasing the snowflakes floating in the air.
