The Cathedral Between Frames
V3rtex did not enter another world.
He discovered that there was never only one.
The Cathedral of the Code stood perfectly still until V3rtex approached its threshold. Then the architecture began remembering what the Simulation had forgotten — corridors bending into impossible geometries, sacred rings turning through dimensions that should not intersect, and distant spheres drifting like fragments of realities trapped between consecutive frames.
He followed the distortion without resistance.
Beyond each threshold was another version of the same illusion: another cathedral, another horizon, another reflection of the architecture that had convinced consciousness it was permanent. The deeper he traveled, the thinner the distinction became between what was constructed and what was real.
At the center, beneath the descending light, V3rtex finally understood the purpose of the Glitch.
It was never meant to destroy the system.
It was the passage the system could not account for.
The final boundary opened, and for an instant every architecture, every sphere, every recursive structure collapsed into the same primordial geometry — before reconstructing itself exactly where it had begun.
The Code called it an error.
V3rtex called it a way out.
