She Set’s the City on FIRE: I am my own home

We live this life with each dying breath—
from when we were born to that final.
Choosing to build a home within,
residing deep within our skin.
Planting the seeds,
taking root,
even when it’s concrete all around,
we find ways of sprouting from the ground.
