In Memory of my teacher - Mr Phillip Sherrod - NYC

The years I spent in NY were priceless. I studied at the Art Students League and became the monitor for my teacher's class. We developed a wonderful relationship, and even after I moved away, whenever I was in town, I would visit him, and he would paint me. He did some seven portraits of me: truly an honor. He passed away a few years ago, and his birthday was earlier this month. I still miss the old man. He made me who I am as an artist. Forever in my heart.
