The beginning of the end

Hidden within the dense forest, where the trees grow tall and the sunlight struggles to reach the forest floor, lies an abandoned fortress—forgotten by time, swallowed by the wild.

Its stone walls, once proud and unyielding, now crumble beneath creeping vines and moss. Roots split through the cracked foundation, reclaiming what once stood firm. Windows gape like hollow eyes, dark and empty, while the wind slips through broken archways with a low, mournful whisper.
