Vertex Corrections #684/482

In QED, a vertex signifies a point of fundamental interaction. This point is surrounded by loops: virtual particles altering the interaction's strength. This is a VERTEX CORRECTION. These fine grained adjustments turn a simple point into a window on the quantum vacuum. Through these loops we see that even the most basic interactions are shaped by the restless structure of space itself.
