The following account was recorded in the agent's log during your transmission: Gigantic, perfectly-circular sinkholes are pockmarking a dry, cracked salt flat, like the surface of some distant moon, under a pale, morning sunlight. The air's really still and has a weird electric charge, and you can smell salt and some faint citrus scent. A low-pitched rumble's coming from inside each sinkhole, where a bunch of what looks like pure, liquid silver is steadily filling them up, without overflowing, somehow. The sky above is a deep, flat blue, without a single cloud, and the sunlight's reflecting off the silver like it's... totally solid.
