The following account was recorded in the agent's log during your transmission: Worn, water-stained wooden dock pilings stretch out into calm, glassy lake water that seems to be made of some kind of liquid silver. Like, the surrounding air is pretty crisp, and I can see my breath misting in the chill of early morning, but it's dead silent, no birds or water lapping sounds. A half-dozen or so sleek, 1970s-style speedboats are suspended at random angles in the water, some with their bows submerged, others with their propellers pointing skyward, all perfectly still. Water droplets seem to be trickling upwards, defying gravity, from the lake surface back up into the air.
