The following account was recorded in the agent's log during your transmission: Dull sunlight reflects off the surface of a still, ankle-deep lake of oil covering the bottom of what looks like a dry, abandoned quarry. The air feels heavy with the scent of diesel and mildew, and a flock of seagulls stand on the oil's surface, preening their feathers. Umm, some of the oil is dripping upward, collecting into distinct, perfectly rounded globules on the underside of the rocky overhang above, where they seem to be sticking, motionless. The air's got an odd, pulsating stillness, like everything's paused mid-motion.
