The following account was recorded in the agent's log during your transmission: Shattered obsidian mirrors litter the rust-red sands of a massive, ancient impact crater, the air thick with the smell of ozone and burned stone. Umm, the sun beats down from almost directly overhead, casting no shadows despite the jagged rock formations. Like, somehow, a crystal lattice column is growing out of the center of the crater, slowly turning in a counterclockwise direction as if unscrewing itself from the earth. The constant whine from before seems to be echoing off the crater walls, but it's fainter, almost soothing amidst the stillness.
