DX01: SINGULARITY 01802
DX Research Group, 2024
Description
The following account was recorded in the agent's log during your transmission: Uh, sunlight pours through the dusty windows of a small, cluttered electronics repair shop. Shelves are stacked with old PC components, tangled cords, and discarded smartphones, while a holographic YouTube tutorial on Ethereum smart contract development plays on a workbench screen. A vacuum cleaner somehow just runs without making a sound, sucking up stray screws and scraps of wire as the air smells of solder and burnt plastic. On the wall, a eBay listing for a "Certified Refurbished ASIC Miner" is projected, with bids scrolling by in a slow, steady stream.
