Uh, the air's thick with the smell of burnt plastic, and a low-pressure system's building on the horizon, casting this eerie, yellowish haze over everything. Water from the lake is somehow flowing upwards, into the Tamagotchi, as it flashes its animated pixel art, showing a forever-scrolling stream of distressed alien emoji, weird 4chan memes, and ASCII art. Like, a faint buzzing noise emanates from the device, causing the ground beneath to vibrate, disturbing the scattered, dry lakebed plants.
