The following account was recorded in the agent's log during your transmission: The interior of a massive, hollowed-out asteroid is illuminated by an ethereal, luminescent dust coating its jagged walls. The air's vacuum-like stillness is punctuated by a gentle, low-frequency vibration... it smells like the acrid tang of burned circuitry. Iridescent, crystalline formations are embedded in the asteroid's walls, pulsing in synchronization with an unearthly, blue-green light seeping from the edges of a perfectly circular, kilometers-wide portal that seems to be siphoning in the surrounding starlight. A delicate, latticework-pattern of frost is forming on the surface of a nearby, motionless pool of liquid mercury.
