Zarkine wasn’t born for the spotlight. She built it. An artist of shadows in a worn-out traveling theater, she crafted puppets in the image of souls she encountered. Her gift didn’t lie solely in her hands, but in the way she breathed life into what had none scraps of cloth, splinters of wood, and sometimes… fractured memories.
But one night, during a solo performance before a silent crowd, her own creations turned on her. The strings wrapped around her wrists, her legs, and finally her throat. Her last breath was a prayer for the children who had once adored her.
She died strangled by her own art.
Chaos remembered both her devotion and her agony. Reborn, Zarkine the Twisted now wanders through the suspended halls of Chaos, her limbs coiled in infinite loops, guided by a memory of their own. Her crooked fingers still pull invisible threads though she no longer animates puppets, but shattered dreams and dangerously real illusions.
Every night, she reenacts her final scene… and those who watch forget who they are.
