Yalda Night, celebrated on the longest night of the year, is a cherished Iranian tradition symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. Families gather to share stories, poetry, and delicious treats, including fruits, nuts, and sweets. Pomegranate holds a special place in this celebration; its vibrant red seeds are seen as a symbol of life, fertility, and the warmth of summer, contrasting with the cold of winter. The fruit is often served to honor the hope for brighter days ahead. This is my oilpainting combination with persian calligraphy 💙 🧡
