Xitang
It was my third time in this magical place and also the last time i set foot on China back in 2019...seems ages ago... I never got tired of visiting what is called around there, the Venice of China, Xitang Millennial Village. It is said it as more than 1000 years old and its buildings are kept like they were back then, which instantly makes you feel like you've timetraveled to that ancient time... you're almost expecting to find the Shaolin monks around the corner! It was actually also the scenario for a Mission Impossible movie a few years ago and the locals still keep some Tom Cruise pictures on the local restaurant windows! :) The sunsets here are incredible! It takes more or less 3h to get to this place coming from Shanghai but its worth every mile... Hope you like one of the perspectives possible here.
