Wrecked DC-3

Sólheimasandur Plane Wreck, located near Vik, South of Iceland. One of many iconic spots in Iceland.

This piece was born during my road trip with four other creators travelled from around the world to Iceland in September 2019. The piece was created and achieved by having lights on a drone, manoeuvring around the subject. The shot was then captured in a stunning endless landscape with ethereal light above the iconic spot in Iceland. Operating the camera and drone alone during the whole process, in pitch dark condition, with the help of a stranger posing, I was able to capture a piece of art that I was really proud of.
