Wreath Cyanotype

This animated cyanotype features playful birds playing joyfully within a circle of sea oats and clovers. I created the analog cyanotype on fabric using various plants from my garden and extended the experience by using subtle animations to evoke the magical feeling that arises at dusk in early summer when the light is soft, the fireflies are out, and the stars are making their evening appearance.

Cyanotypes use a solar photography process to produce ethereal images in indigo and white.
