Human ancestors in Sumatra viewed tigers as "wong tuo" who must be respected. This attitude gave birth to a tradition where the relationship between humans and tigers coexisted which would later lead to the preservation of animals living in the jungle.
The problem that occurs now is over time and civilization, where humans are massively destroying the habitat/forest which is home to animals, one of which is tigers. This problem causes conflict in the relationship between humans and tigers, which leads to a high mortality rate and the near extinction of this animal.
