The dunes of the Namib-Naukluft National Park in Namibia are monstrous in scale and stretch as far as the eye can see. They are a playground for tourism and home to all manner of wildlife. The dunes themselves can be over 300 metres in height, sculpted over centuries by the wind and watercourses. This image is perhaps my favourite from my visit, never before seen online. The two figures provide scale to the enormity of these sandy behemoths.
