Along many beaches I've roamed worldwide, and always something fascinates me. I'll just perceive, meditate in the warm breeze, especially with no camera/sketchbook. Certain things may stick in my imagination. This artwork is a bit earlier which came out of combined sketches, but photos I took caught my attention. As I've painted a long time, I've explored the computer software tools, as they work much the same, but I needed to be motivated, often combining traditional methods with the hi-tech. This leans toward realism expressionist art more, so using pattern effect emphasis, to capture a viewers attention. It was too calm initially. I wanted a tension between form & pattern, thus waves resonate a clash against shoreline, that I purposely created more rough, giving more interest to a viewer's perception.
