War or Peace?

Is it possible to choose between war and peace? Is there anything that would make the Dalai Lama, a symbol of peace and tolerance, go to war? I also wonder, what would it take for me, or someone else to do so? In 2022, the world is still afraid of a World War and people are still trying to justify it. When are we going to overcome?
