Waiting” is a surreal exploration of human stillness, disconnection, and the fragile boundary between solitude and silence.
The faceless figure — caught between form and abstraction — sits with limbs twisted by time, while a shadowy dog-like creature stares in anticipation. The absence of facial features hints at the erasure of identity in modern existence, while the deep reds and greens reflect the inner friction of isolation.
This work is a part of my surrealist oil painting collection that merges emotional intensity with dreamlike disfiguration.
