Viraelda

Viralda is the last guardian of the Fortress of Light—a being who was once human, but whose physical form was destroyed in the explosion of a neutron star during the Silent Star Wars. All that remained was her consciousness, which was transformed into billions of green light particles by the remnants of that star’s energy and then reassembled. She is no longer flesh and bones; she is light itself. Every particle of her body is a memory, a battle, a name of those who are no longer. Her blue-turquoise sword is called Nekros (the destroyer of darkness); the only weapon that can destroy the intergalactic blackness—a being called The Void. Viralda wanders the edges of the universe, neither dead nor alive. Whenever a star goes out, she is there. Whenever hope is reborn, she is there.
