Vibrant Waters

The story behind this creation was inspired by the characteristics of the rich and luminous color quality, oil paintings bring to life. I felt the need to recreate those colors through photography, as the oil reflects light creates a wanderlust for the eyes. As in oil paintings this photograph has been layered and blended creating smooth transitions and subtle effects, with rich and luminous color quality. Finding inspiration for photography can be challenging, but also fulfilling. There are so many sources of inspiration around us if we just pay attention and take the time to look for them. Exploring new places or revisiting the old ones with a fresh perspective can genuinely be gratifying. This photograph of a series, had me remember something I read; that inspiration is not something that you wait for, but something that you create. Be curious, be open-minded, and be passionate about your photography. You never know when inspiration will strike!
