Vertical Garden

Tokyo is constantly renewing itself. This means a lot of the old Showa-era buildings are getting torn down and being replaced by newer apartment blocks. This photograph is part of an ongoing series called "Shitamachi Dreams" which documents the 20th century architecture of the Japanese mega cities.
