The portrait of a child is recognized by many artists as one of the most difficult creative challenges. Depending on the artistic style and the message the creator wants to convey, it is indeed a daunting task. It is also a very interesting experience to portray a child. Our lives are reflected in our faces. The severity of experience, the environment in which we lived, intelligence, character, upbringing - the things that create our image, in addition to our eyes, nose, mouth, and so on. The average adult understands the world through their knowledge, whether it is physics and mathematics or human relationships. The child, on the other hand, comes to certain inferences in a special way, both by trial and error and through incredible imagination. Something that rational adults are often deprived of. I think it is especially important to convey what a little person's eyes say. Especially interesting are the eyes of a child on the border between childhood and the realization of a brutal reality. The moment of realization that Santa does not exist, and neither does pet heaven. Mom and Dad are not always right and often they themselves do not know the answers to the important questions "How to live in this complicated world?", "Is eternal love real?" The real world slowly, like a virus or termites, begins to destroy the air castles that the little person's mind has been building for so long. The moment a child begins to understand is seen in his intelligent eyes. This moment is incredibly tragic, but also beautiful. My words sound cruel, but that is the danger of life as it is. I think it is important for a child to understand that there is such a thing as reality, which was built by generations before him. If you are warned, you are armed. The biggest victory is to screw the rules that people have created before and to build their air castles, only now not in dreams, but in reality.
