Captured out on a photowalk to the beach and back, the pandemic I think was still about so scenes of a slight eeriness about. The sun was astonishingly bright however and most the rest of the shots I took on that walk are blown out or completely lacking in any contrast. This however came out beautifully, the bright sun defining the corners of the building perfectly, the other shot I tried would've been a composite but it included the sky and the edges of the building and didn't really show me anything at all, other than of memory of the day and trying to find something to shoot.
I'd walk past this building fairly frequently, Brighton isn't altogether that large a place, and never had I seen it so defined, I'm glad for the almost mirror-like quantity of the darks and lights of the sides and edges from balcony to shaded windows.
