This is probably the oldest of the collages I made in the "Celestial Streetlife" series. I made this collage years before I decided to make a project out of it. Specifically, I was looking to get "serious" about what materials I combined. My concerns were "compatibility". I wanted the "content" of the images to be "estranged" from each other somehow but the "materials" to work well together - paper stock and photography style mostly. Strangely, I don't think I included a print of this one in the show along with the others. It shared all the same intentions as the later pieces. Somehow, it felt separate.
