Unknown Darkness

Humankind hates the unknown. We always would like to know the short pass, remove black parts on our maps and travel further and further. Now we think we conquered the Earth and are ready for an infinite Space. But are we sure of this? Did we know what is hiding beyond the surface of the oceans, where no light can reach? What horrors of the Deep nests there and waiting?
