On August 19th of 2020 Forecasts called for some severe thunderstorms in Manitoba Canada.
So the morning of the 19th I set out with all my gear to Manitoba. After a long 9 hours drive to my spot i sat and waited watching the skies for the birth of a storm.
It wasn't until around 3 pm local time when things started to get rolling. shortly after i was standing and shooting this amazing super-cell. By 4 pm when this was taken the storm went tornado warned when rotation became visible to the eye and on radar.
My Blood was pumping it was game time exactly what I came for. Shortly after this photo a funnel formed reaching about half way to the ground before shooting back up and disappearing. Luckily for farmers and nearby towns the Funnel didn't touch down. After this it didn't take long for the storm to lose momentum and slowly start to die.
After a long drive to the storm it was worth it 100% seeing this super-cell spin like a spinning top was breathtaking! Twisted Up
