🎨 Twisted Perceptions – Fragments of Self
🖌️ CONCEPT / STORY
This artwork explores the fragile nature of identity as it slowly dissolves under the weight of memory, time, and emotional decay. The solitary figure delicately repairs a weathered skull while their own body silently disintegrates into drifting letters and fragments.
The letters rising from the figure's head symbolize fading memories, unfinished thoughts, and words that were never spoken. As the skull is carefully reconstructed, the figure itself continues to disappear, suggesting that the act of repairing the past often comes at the cost of losing oneself.
Surrounded by a quiet shoreline beneath an overcast sky, the composition transforms restoration into a meditation on impermanence, memory, and the endless search for personal identity.
