Twisted Perceptions – The Steps of the Sky
The sky had torn open, consciousness had unraveled, and reality had begun to dissolve. Once innocent clouds now dangled with roots and veins, slowly descending toward the earth. A colossal entity, seeing the world through its own eye, emerged from the heavens, balancing precariously on two elongated legs. Sustained by the clouds, this being made contact with the ground through dazzling red high heels. The eye saw everything—past, present, and even a future that had yet to exist.
As the heels pressed into the barren land, a faceless silhouette stood in its path. Neither resisting nor welcoming, the figure remained motionless, caught in the presence of something beyond comprehension.
In the distance, trees with uprooted trunks floated, their crimson leaves blending with the rippling, faded sky. They had long forgotten what it meant to be anchored to the earth.
In the foreground, a headless man sat on a cylindrical pedestal, engrossed in a newspaper devoid of words. The pages were blank, yet he searched for meaning within them, as if words had vanished along with the coherence of reality.
Beside him, two worn-out dolls rested on the ground. Their multicolored hair whispered of a lost joy, while their button eyes held the weight of everything they had seen yet failed to understand.
And amidst this warped reality, a black cat stood silent. Watching. Waiting. A guardian of the surreal, a keeper of secrets.
As the steps of the sky reached the earth, time rewound, consciousness blurred, and perceptions twisted. But was this real? Or merely the dream of the ever-watching eye?
