Twisted Perceptions #87
🎨 Twisted Perceptions – The Burden of Cosmic Silence
🖌️ CONCEPT / STORY
Within absolute darkness, a monumental faceless entity stands, its head lost in a storm of nebulae and starlight. One hand is raised in a gesture of silence—perhaps guarding a secret, or perhaps swearing an oath of muteness against the unanswerable questions of the cosmos. In its other hand, it cradles a swirling galaxy, a seed of creation, within its fingers. The delicate, glowing golden threads stretching between the two hands resemble nerve endings; symbolizing the fragile connection between thought and action, the divine and the human.
As a part of the Twisted Perceptions series, this artwork questions the tragedy of humanity's struggle to understand the universe. Why does the entity holding knowledge (the galaxy) remain silent? Perhaps the answers are too heavy to be put into words. Perhaps creation is not just a whisper, but also an absolute solitude. It exposes the disturbing contradiction between the silence of the divine and humanity's search for meaning.
Perhaps the true prayer is not waiting for an answer, but creating one's own meaning within the absence of an answer.
