This artwork embodies the theme of “the decay of the sacred.” Once a servant of light, this being is now bound to his own shadow — a bearer of eternal curse. His armor no longer protects — it imprisons pain itself. The sword he carries was once a symbol of justice, now it bears the weight of endless remorse.
The blood streaming from his eyes is not guilt — it is the price of fulfilling a duty that should never have been his. The shattered wings behind him whisper one truth: the light will never return. He is no longer a guardian — but an echo of a forgotten legend.
