🎨 Twisted Perceptions – The Memory of Time
🖌️ CONCEPT / STORY
In a flooded world where ordinary logic has disappeared, a monumental face floats above clocks, empty chairs, suspended spheres, and fragments of classical sculpture. A solitary figure stands beneath a relentless cascade of water while a beam of light connects it to the enormous observer.
The clock still measures time, yet everything surrounding it feels timeless.
The work explores the difference between time as something we measure and time as something we experience. Memories distort duration: a single moment can survive for decades, while entire years can disappear almost without a trace.
The giant face becomes a silent consciousness watching its own past, while the submerged furniture and abandoned objects resemble fragments of a life that once had meaning.
Perhaps time never truly passes. Perhaps we are the ones passing through it.
