In a silent world suspended between water and clouds, a solitary figure stands before an open book while a human form burns upon an altar. Above them, an enormous stone angel watches with glowing red eyes.

The book suggests knowledge, belief, law, and the human need for answers. The fire becomes both sacrifice and transformation, while the angel remains impossible to interpret: protector, witness, judge—or merely a projection of those standing beneath it.

The work explores a disturbing contradiction: humanity often searches for meaning precisely when meaning seems most absent.

Perhaps the unanswered prayer is not silence. Perhaps it is the moment when we are forced to decide what we believe without receiving proof.
