Twisted Perceptions #6806
Twisted Perceptions – Digital Relief
🖌️ CONCEPT / STORY
This artwork transforms an ordinary human moment into a surreal reflection on digital existence. An X-ray skeleton sits on a transparent toilet, completely absorbed in a smartphone while streams of glowing glitch particles replace what would normally be discarded. The contrast between mundane routine and impossible anatomy creates an unsettling yet humorous commentary on modern life.
The piece explores how technology has become so deeply embedded in everyday behavior that even life's most private moments are shared with endless scrolling. The body becomes transparent, but the habit remains.

🎥 ANIMATION DESCRIPTION
The X-ray skeleton remains seated naturally on the transparent toilet while continuously scrolling through the smartphone with subtle thumb movements. The head occasionally makes tiny natural adjustments as if reading different content on the screen.
A steady stream of luminous purple-blue glitch particles continuously flows into the toilet bowl, swirling naturally with the water before disappearing into the drain. The particle stream flickers with digital distortion while maintaining a smooth, fluid motion.
The smartphone screen emits a soft glow that subtly illuminates the skeleton's hand and skull. Tiny digital particles occasionally drift into the air around the toilet before fading away. Gentle reflections ripple across the glossy floor beneath the figure.
The camera remains completely locked-off throughout the animation with no zoom, pan, rotation, morphing, or scene transitions, creating a seamless looping surreal moment.
