⚡ TWISTED PERCEPTIONS – SILENT SKY
🎥 Concept / Story
A child stands still inside the shape of a flag — the Palestinian flag — a landscape painted with red, black, white, and green. Above, a plane passes silently, cutting through the air like a line through memory.
The child looks up — not with fear, but with a quiet kind of recognition. It’s an image suspended between innocence and history, a minimal yet powerful reflection of presence under constant tension.
This is not motion for spectacle; it’s motion as memory — a digital echo of a moment too heavy for sound.
⚙️ Technical Process
🧩 Software Pipeline:
p5.js (Animation + Generative Layer): – Flag colors generated as geometric planes (rectangles + triangles) – Silhouette of the child rendered with vector shape primitives – Plane movement scripted with sin() + translate() for subtle motion path – Frame rate fixed at 30 FPS for cinematic calm – Noise overlay shader for slight texture realism
YouCut (Final Edit & Export): – Frame timing and sync alignment – Contrast balance between flag colors – Fade-in/fade-out transitions for entry and exit – Ambient color tone enhancement (soft matte layer) – Export in 1080p, 24fps for NFT-ready output
🎨 Aesthetic Notes
Visual Tone: Minimalist, symbolic, somber Palette: Red (sacrifice), Black (loss), White (hope), Green (endurance) Composition: Triangular and planar geometry enclosing a lone human figure Motion: Subtle — slow aircraft movement, still child silhouette Emotion: Quiet resilience
🕯️ QUOTE
“He looked at the sky not to see the plane, but to remember the silence that followed.”
