Two human figures emerge from a world that appears to be collapsing vertically. Their faces and bodies remain recognizable, yet continuously dissolve into thousands of elongated fragments.
Facing one another at close distance, the figures suggest intimacy, confrontation, memory, or separation. Their identities merge with the surrounding environment until the boundary between human and abstraction almost disappears.
The work explores the fragility of identity and memory: how much of a person can disappear before their presence disappears with them?
Even as the surface collapses, traces of the original form remain.
