🎨 Twisted Perceptions – The Shape of Protection
🖌️ CONCEPT / STORY
Two faceless figures hold each other in complete darkness. One is larger, wrapped in a heavy black coat; the other is smaller, dressed in faded pink. Their faces are absent, yet the embrace communicates everything the missing expressions cannot.
Parts of both bodies dissolve into particles, suggesting that time, memory, or loss is slowly erasing their physical presence. Still, their arms remain locked around one another.
The work explores protection, attachment, vulnerability, memory, and unconditional connection. Identity may disappear, details may fade, but the instinct to protect someone can remain.
The central idea is simple: when everything else begins to disappear, sometimes the embrace is the last thing that remembers us.

🛠️ TECHNICAL DETAILS
Artwork Type: Surreal Figurative Digital Artwork / Conceptual Portrait
Composition: The larger figure curves around the smaller one, creating a closed protective structure. The absence of faces shifts emotional expression entirely toward posture and physical contact.
Textures: Distressed fabric, granular erosion, particle fragmentation, and weathered surfaces create an aged and tactile appearance.
Visual Focus: The intertwined arms and empty faces create the strongest tension, contrasting physical closeness with visual absence.
