The Dutch Tulip Mania was perhaps the first speculative bubble in history. At the height of the mania in 1637, a single bulb cost many times the entire yearly salary of a skilled worker. Then the entire market crashed when they realized tulips were, well... tulips. They die.
Today is not another tulip mania. Digital art will not die. History will show that the seeds planted today will grow for years to come.
