TRUE DRAGON

It is narrated in Adiparwa's story that Dewi Kadru, who had no children, asked Resi Kasyapa to give her a thousand children. Then Bagawan Kasyapa gave a thousand eggs to be nurtured by Dewi Kadru. Then from the egg were born the sons of Dewi Kadru. After five hundred years had passed, the eggs hatched. That's where the dragon was born. One of those dragons is Shesha. Shesha is the Nagaraja or King of all Nagas and one of the primal beings of creation.
