AltJames; ‘A lot of my work is reactive, I see a visual stimulus and I react. Whether that’s a landscape a colour combination or a series of marks. I use a visual ‘alphabet’ over and over but always try and make something new.

Collaborations are a conversation between artists. I saw the conversation with LoH and Bayfragile and literally butted in. Taking a preview of their conversation, working on a draft and sending it over.

I didn’t want to ‘destroy’, reinterpret or rearrange or work over, I simply wanted to add. Like a postscript on the end of a letter or an additional guitar in a band, my additions had to fit in without distracting, it’s a remix whilst remaining recognisable. It makes me happy to be a part of this.’
