The TRAUMA project is an experimentation pushed to the limit with a single purpose, the graphic representation of the damaged psyche and the struggle to overcome each individual. In this work the images speak for themselves and behind each of them there is a story of unresolved family problems that have given rise to various traumas. TRAUMA is a compendium of expressions taken to the limit of the plastic. The models' experiences emanate from their skin, provoking a flow of degradation and collective therapy, where they try to overcome their fears, evoking a visceral art that we all carry inside. TRAUMA is a collection of realities that are hard to visualize, but studied in order to show a side of us that we do not know because we have buried it under a mask, which we try to discover in this project. The stark photographs strike the viewer, who, unable to remain indifferent, wonders what traumas have led to the cruel current situation and sees himself reflected in them.
All the photographs in this project were taken with analog film.
